Solution: A short story to detail the events that happened was written by author Erik Grigg. In addition, illustrations were drawn to compliment the story and set in a small Ladybird style book by LND.
The audience for the book was children of primary school age and upwards, so the style of illustration and character designs were drawn with this in mind. Illustrations gave a fun approach to some quite serious scenes, such as the aftermath of the battle and the death of King John.
The styling of the book itself was designed to reflect the diary entries of the main character, using various paper textures for each letter.
The Lincoln Knights’ Trail project was completed with the dedicated staff at Lincoln BIG. Most importantly, the project raised nearly £180,000 for charity and arts in the city of Lincoln.
